AYS LACROSSE
Welcome to the home of AYS Lacrosse.

The Andover Youth Services helped start a youth lacrosse program in Andover close to 15 years ago and has maintained and grown the program from 10 kids tossing a ball around to over 400 boys and girls participating across the Merrimack Valley, the North Shore and Southern New Hampshire.

We offer many opportunities for young people, in the 1st through 8th grades, to be involved with lacrosse. From the beginner to the advanced, it is our goal to provide every lacrosse player with a chance to learn and love this great sport.

Registration for our Spring season typically takes place online during the month of November and December.

Registration for the 2012 Spring season is now open.

If you would like to recieve information regarding any future lacrosse programs offered through Andover Youth Lacrosse, please join our email list to the left.

FINAL WEEK OF REGISTRATION
There is only 1 week left to register during our initial registration period!

Regular registration opened on Friday November 18th 2011 and will only continue through Saturday December 31st.
Late registrations will then be taken from Monday January 1st through Friday February 10th with a $25 late fee.

Each age group has a limit to the number of roster spots available; once those limits are reached in registration, than we will begin adding new registrations to a waitlist.

Roster spots are filling fast and some age groups are already at capacity and others are reaching it quickly. Decisions regarding waitlists will not be made until the entire registration process is complete – after February 10th.

No registrations will be taken for the Spring 2012 Lacrosse Season after February 10th.

Please register as soon as possible to secure your son or daughters spot for the upcoming season or on a waitlist.

If you have any questions about the spring registration, please us.
AYS WINTER CLINC

Registration is now open for our 2012 Winter Clinic. The AYS Winter Lacrosse is a clinic based program open to boys and girls in the 1st-8th grade. The sessions are designed to introduce basic lacrosse skills to new players and provide returning players the opportunity to prepare for the upcoming Spring season through skills sessions, drills and small game situation practices.

Dates: Sundays January 8, 15, 22, 29 and February 6, 12

Times: Girls 12 to 2pm    Boys 2 to 4pm

Location: Andover High School Field House

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

In an effort to provide the best possible program for the development of Andover’s youth lacrosse players, the Andover Youth Services is always looking for new parents to help with all aspects of the program. From coaching to sending emails, there are plenty of things you can do to help, regardless of your lacrosse knowledge or experience.

At this time, we are currently looking for head coaches, assistant coaches and volunteers to help run practices at every level, both boys and girls. If you are interested in helping out this season, please email and we will be sure to get in touch with you regarding any upcoming meetings or trainings for the upcoming season. Returning coaches should also contact us to confirm that you are coming back to be a part of the team.

At many levels, the amount of coaching help and support that we have from parents, will determine how many players we are able to accept onto rosters. As you may be aware, some levels are already taking waitlists and we would love nothing more than to accept all players for the 2012 spring season, however, we will not be able to do so without you!

Enjoy the rest of the holiday season!!

Thank you
Andover Youth Services
