The game of lacrosse was introduced to Andover in 1998 by the Andover Youth Services through the efforts of a passionate group of young people. Since that time, Andover Youth Lacrosse has grown from 15 young people on the field at Doherty Middle School to over 400 boys and girls in the youth program and 6 teams at the high school level. For over 20 years, Andover Youth Services and Andover Youth Lacrosse have been committed to the growth of lacrosse in and around the Merrimack Valley.
Our programs are designed with a focus on youth development; providing players an opportunity to interact with their peers and adults in a positive and encouraging environment. Andover Warrrios Lacrosse offers to Andover residents, in the 1st through 8th grades, the opportunity to learn and grow within lacrosse regardless of skill level or ability. It is our goal to encourage the participation of new players regardless of grade, while continuing to provide a quality lacrosse opportunity for the most experienced player.
