FALL BALL LACROSSE
AYS LAcrosse is proud to announce the opportunity for Andover boys and girls to compete in a Fall/ Winter youth lacrosse league.
We have surveyed a number of leagues and have identified North Shore Lacrosse’s Fall/Winter league as an exciting opportunity for Andover boys and girls looking to play indoor ‘Box’ style lacrosse on Sundays starting October 10th in North Andover. These games will be scheduled to minimize conflicts with other Fall sports.
Highlights as follows:
-Separate teams will be created for U-15 (7th and 8th graders) and a combined U-13/ U-11 teams
-Play will be 5 v 5 with the smaller Box style nets with a max of 14 to 18 players per team
-At least 8 games (with play-offs to follow) starting Oct 10th and running through Dec 5th

ANDVACED PLACEMENT LACROSSE
In addition to this great opportunity we will also like to let you know that AYS Lacrosse coach Steve Moreland will running an 8 week player development program for boys committed to improving their lacrosse skills.
The focus of these sessions will be to provide individualized instruction to players, offering each participant the opportunity to enhance their:
- stick skills
- 1v1 offense/defense
- 6 v6 offense/defense
- transition game
Each session will be facilitated in a small group setting, with a maximum of 12 players per session. Each group will meet at Doherty Middle School field for one hour per week for eight weeks.
Fall Schedule: Sept 11th – Oct 31st (weekends of Nov 6th and Nov 13th reserved for make-up sessions due to weather related cancellations)
Saturdays:
8:00 – 9:00 U11 session #1
9:30 – 10:30 U11 session #2
11:00 – 12:00 U13 session #1
12:30 – 1:30 U13 session #2
2:00 – 3:00 U15 session #1
3:30 – 4:30 U15 session #2
Sundays:
11:00 – 12:00 High School
Registration: The cost for the eight week camp is $160 per player. Registration can be done in person at AYS or on-line via the AYS Lacrosse website. Please register before Sept 4th.
